I forgot to tell you, we used to have a local man that has passed on the we called the “Orcihd Man” He had ever type and color of orchid there is in his garden. When you walk through it, it was like walking a rainbow. Simply gorgeous!!!
Well … I like the name Orchid Man. I may have to alter that to Orchid Woman.
I have about 45 now. I have cultivated a few on my own. I have them on my back porch.
They are beautiful when they all bloom. I get the blooms in the Spring and Fall.
I have a variety of colors, too. I like to purchase them when they are not in bloom and get the
surprise of what color they are when the bud opens.

they are simply stunning to look at
When they bloom, they bloom for several weeks. They are
worth the work just for that reason. Although, they really aren’t
very much work.

I have 45 orchids many of which I have cultivated. They are varying colors of purple.
It just happened that way. When I buy them they are not blooming.
I never know what color they are going to be. It’s like a rainbow when they all open.

I find it peaceful and relaxing to re-pot and try to make new ones from cuttings.
It’s a blessings when I see them bloom.
