Beautiful and a real tear jerker, I hope he is home for good.
The power of love, heartbreak and hope . . .
One should see the children in Iraq and Afghanistan ask their mothers and fathers, who have been killed by US invasion… there is nothing more I can say.

It looks as if he wants to take that baby inside himself–he can’t get close enough. I’ve been in those kinds of hugs. They are unforgettable.

it really is a very powerful image Isadora
My thoughts and prayers to the men and women who everyday defend our freedom but in the process have to leave their families and put their lives at stake. This image totally describe the heatache a parent when he/she leaves his/her family or of a child when his/her parent leaves or worse dies. Today, we offer to our heroes. Great post.
Touching words for a heartfelt image. Wordless Wednesday usually doesn’t get replies but your comment is so poignant. You have expressed exactly what I was trying to say. This was posted the day after 911. It is our soldiers who keep us safe and defend our freedom. They make huge sacrifices and should be thanked more often than they are. Thank you for your special thoughts and prayers.
Blessings ….
Thanks for stopping by… looking forward to your next post.
